Good to see the forum up again Ray and I'll try my best to help keep it going. I find this painting very atmospheric . But not something I would have on my own walls as I prefer more mute shades and my rooms are too small for such vivid colours.

Liz, thanks for your support and comment about the painting. Maybe not to everyones taste but I love Normans work. I haven't mentioned this before as I wasn't sure if Norman would mind, however, I have checked with him and he is okay about it. Norman is an old patient of mine from many years ago from when I first became a District Nurse. Over the years as our paths crossed and as my carrer moved on and Normans circumstanes changed, I would like to think we have become friends. Norman has Multible Sclerosis and his condition has gradually deteriorated over the years to the point now where Norman's only control over movement is his head. He paints these paintings using his mouth only. I am in awe of them not only for the paintings themselves but for his sheer perserverance and patience.

Obviously, I didn't know about Norman's health when I commented. That is great that Norman can produce such work and I do think it is a marvellous painting. If I had bigger rooms I might be tempted but it would overpower my small rooms;-( I would love to see some more of Norman's paintings though.

Liz, thats okay , why should you have known and why should it make a difference. Your comments were about a piece of art and that is what Norman wants to hear. I just wanted to share a little bit about Norman, as he inspires me .
